  • Visit to the Train Cemetery, a historic and photographic site of great cultural value, where you can see the old steam locomotives that are part of Bolivia’s industrial heritage.
  • Visit to Colchani, a small town known for its salt crafts, where you can experience local culture up close and purchase unique souvenirs.
  • Tour of the Salar de Uyuni, the world’s largest salt mirror, with stops for photos and exploration of the natural landscape. This tour ends with a special sunset toast, one of the most memorable moments of the entire experience.

Logistical services:

  • Shared transportation throughout the tour, including transfers between the various tourist attractions listed in the itinerary.
  • Reception upon arrival and departure transfer to the airport or bus terminal at the end of the package on the third day.

In summary, this 3-day, 2-night package covers all the essential aspects of your stay, from accommodation and meals to the most representative activities of the destination, ensuring a memorable, comfortable, and fully organized experience in the Salar de Uyuni.

To help you properly plan your trip, it’s important to take into account the services and concepts that are not included in this package. We recommend considering them when organizing your travel budget:

Entrance fees and admission tickets:

  • The admission tickets to tourist attractions are not included in the package price. This includes entry to Incahuasi Island, one of the most visited spots in the Salar de Uyuni, known for its majestic giant cacti and panoramic views of the salt flats, as well as tickets to any other site requiring admission payment during the tour. It is recommended to bring cash in bolivianos to cover these costs at the time of your visit.

Bilingual guide:

  • Bilingual guide services are not included in the package. If you wish to have the assistance of a specialized guide who can provide detailed information about each attraction in your language, you must coordinate and hire this service independently. Having a guide can significantly enrich your experience, especially for learning about the geological, cultural, and social history of the Salar de Uyuni and its surroundings.

Extra expenses and tips:

  • Any extra expense incurred during the trip that is not expressly mentioned as included in this package will be the responsibility of the traveler. This includes personal purchases, souvenirs, additional services requested at the hotel, or other unforeseen expenses.
  • Tips for service personnel, drivers, guides, or other collaborators are not included in the price and are at the discretion of the traveler. However, it is a common and well-appreciated practice in the Bolivian tourism sector to reward good service with a voluntary gratuity.

Unspecified drinks:

  • Drinks not expressly mentioned as part of the package are not included. That is, the consumption of additional alcoholic drinks, extra bottled water, sodas, or other beverages ordered outside the established gastronomic program must be paid for directly by the traveler. Please note that the package does include wine and a special snack for the sunset toast on the salt flats, but any other additional beverages are not covered.

We recommend bringing cash in bolivianos to cover all these expenses during your stay, as access to ATMs or electronic payment methods may be limited in some areas of the salt flats and nearby towns.

General recommendations for the destination:

The Salar de Uyuni is located at high altitude, so it is advisable to stay well hydrated and take the necessary time to acclimatize, especially if you are traveling from cities at lower altitude. Temperatures can vary considerably between day and night, so it is recommended to bring warm clothing, high SPF sunscreen, sunglasses, and comfortable clothes for outdoor activities.

Remember also to bring cash in bolivianos for expenses not included, such as entrance fees to attractions, tips, and additional beverages.
